Suraj Fertilizer Industries (Pvt) Limited is committed to achieve sustainable growth and development without compromising its social and environmental obligations. Protection and preservation of environment is therefore, a priority with the Company. In line with this commitment, all the plants at our factory have been equipped with the state of art effluent treatment machinery and facilities. The Company has ensured compliance with all relevant laws and regulations and taken the following steps:

Installation of most modern scrubbing units and treatment facilities at all plants to control and neutralize emissions of pollutants.

Generation of electricity from heat recovery to minimize CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) emissions into the environment.

Strict compliance with National Environmental Quality Standards (NEQs).

Ongoing plantation drive. More than 4000 trees planted.

Development and maintenance of green belts inside the factory and in its surroundings.

Suraj Fertilizer is continuously endeavoring to bring further improvements in the environment around its manufacturing facilities by maximizing use of recycled and treated materials and conserving resources.
